Los Angeles graffiti artist, mentor and curator Man One has a new video promoting his Faces L.A. project. The video features the track “Ganas” which was released on Underground Resistance in 2012. Check out the video below and more of Man One’s artwork and the #FacesLA project check http://manone.com. The video was directed, filmed and edited by the talented Naheedence Photographic http://naheedence.com.
I’m excited to announce that the Yaxteq EP is now available in the UK and Europe. The Vinyl Factory has picked the Yaxteq EP as one of it’s 10 best releases of the week!
“Nomadico breaks the silence and opens the gateway for another wave of hi tech jazz and machine funk from the masters. On the strength of ‘Yaxteq’, ain’t nothing changed but the game; UR still hit harder than anyone else, punching your lights out with a pin point assault of brutal sequences and hammering percussion”
You can order directly from the following retailers in the UK and Europe.
I’ve started recording video of my practice sessions. This past weekend I spent a couple of hours with the UR and Red Planet catalog. Here’s about 25 minutes from that session. It features all Electro-Techno-Funk tracks from Red Planet, UR, Timeline and Nomadico.
I’m happy to announce that I will be returning to Tokyo for a DJ set at Club Asia on Saturday November 30th, 2013. The line-up includes Rondenion with whom I shared the stage last year in Kobe. The event will also be a party for Onomono’s latest release “Unifys”.

This Sunday August 25th, I’ll be DJing at “Burn The Elastic” just outside of Downtown L.A. at Vista Hermosa Natural Park. I’ll be opening for the one and only DJ Steve Loria. Before joining Underground Resistance, before learning anything about an MPC or getting my head around chord inversions, I learned about the craft of DJing from Steve Loria. So, yes, it’s an honor to play with the “West Coast Legend”. He’s been known for playing 8 hour sets and dropping everything from deep vocal house tracks to dark tribal stompers and funky disco cut ups. He’s the first person I ever heard play “Electric Shock” by Dan Bell. His crates are DEEEEP! Check out part of a set of his on Soundcloud at the bottom of this post!!
The park is on First Street west of the 110 (Harbor Freeway) between Beaudry and Glendale Blvd. If you’re in L.A. please stop by and say wassup!

Apologies for my slacking on posting to my own blog the past couple of months! I’ve been busy in the studio finishing music for my next Underground Resistance release. Catalog number UR-091, the “Yaxteq EP”, is now being mastered and will be released by the end of this summer!! In the meantime enjoy this recently re-posted mix by my good friends at “Bottom Floor” Los Angeles. It’s a 2 hour set of deeper Techno and House music, including everything from Jeff Mills to Dennis Ferrer, DJ Qu, a Nina Simone remix, Francois Dubois and El Coyote! Mixed on 2 Technics 1200 turntables, 1 CDJ and a Pioneer mixer.
